Brian Beck serves as Vice President of Project Management at SM CRE Services, where he leads the firm's capital improvement, redevelopment, and tenant build-out initiatives across its managed portfolios. He oversees all aspects of project execution, including planning, construction management, and owner's representation services.
Prior to joining SM CRE, Brian held roles at AECOM, where he managed design and construction administration services for complex facilities projects. Earlier in his career, he worked as a structural design engineer for commercial and industrial facilities.
Brian's experience spans ground-up development, repositioning strategies, and tenant improvement projects. During his tenure at SM CRE, he has led the execution of more than $200 million in development and construction projects. He is highly experienced in permitting, contractor oversight, risk mitigation, capital planning, and financial reporting. Brian also plays a key role in new client acquisition efforts, supporting due diligence through property condition assessments and capital expenditure analysis.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
