Greg Hughes is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of SM CRE Services, where he provides strategic leadership across the firm’s operations, including corporate strategy, portfolio management, and organizational growth. With 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Greg brings broad expertise across acquisitions, development, financial structuring, and asset optimization. He takes a hands-on approach to portfolio management, combining strategic problem solving with a focus on building lasting client and partner relationships.
Prior to founding SM CRE Services, Greg served as Executive Vice President and Market Leader at Madison Marquette, where he oversaw the region’s strategic management and operations across multiple service lines, including asset management, property management, development, construction, and leasing. Earlier in his career, he worked at CBRE within the Global Corporate Advisory Services Group.
Greg’s experience across multiple disciplines and areas of the commercial real estate industry provides a broad perspective on portfolio strategy, operations, and growth. He is focused on creating long-term value for clients while building a strong platform for continued organizational growth.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bentley University.
